Teenage boy and man arrested on suspicion of murder after Moscow17’s Incognito was stabbed to death

Following the death of 23-year-old drill rapper Incognito – real name Siddique Kamara – who was stabbed to death on Warham Street in Camberwell, South London on Wednesday 1 August, a 16-year-old boy and 31-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

However, the Met has not confirmed whether the arrests are directly related to Incognito’s murder.

The two, including a teenage boy, had also been stabbed and were subsequently arrested after they were treated in hospital for their stab wounds.

Sadly, Incognito died at the scene from two stab wounds to the chest.

An 18 and 19-year-old man were arrested close to the scene but have now been released under investigation.

Incognito is the second member of Moscow17 to have died from a violent attack. Rhyhiem Ainsworth Barton, 17, was gunned down on the same street in Camberwell back in May.

Incognito and another member of Moscow17 were cleared at the Old Bailey of murdering a rival gang member’s brother (Peckham’s Zone 2) earlier this year.

Our thoughts are with Moscow17 and Incognito’s family and friends at this sad time.
