Prince Harry And Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, Announce They Are Expecting Their First Baby

Five months after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at the Windsor Castle, they are now announcing they are expecting their first baby.

Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, broke the news to the family on Friday as they gathered in Windsor for Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank, with the rest of the world finding out on Monday.

Both Meghan and Harry have dropped hints that they were planning to have a child, with Harry having recently said: “one step at a time, and hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future” and Meghan made some comments in regard to certain baby products saying: “I’m sure at some point we’ll need the whole lot.”

The baby will be seventh in line to the British throne after Prince Charles, Prince William and his three children and Prince Harry.

In a statement from the Kensington Palace, the Royal Family announced that they are delighted by the news. To be honest, I think the whole world is happy with the news, especially with the couple making the announcement during Black History Month.
