Octavian Releases Most Anticipated Album “Spaceman”

Notorious for his unique sound, South London’s Camberwell rapper Octavian has released his debut album – “Spaceman” and to be honest, it truly does sound like he is out of this world. Octavian has been consistent in delivering authentic tunes, mixing the sound of rap, drill and house and creating absolute bangers.

After introducing us to “Party Here” and turning Drake into a fan of his and hitting the catwalk for Virgil Abloh’s  first Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Artistic Director “We Are The World”, it’s clear Octavian is an artist to keep an eye out for.

His album “Spaceman” is a 14 tracks body of work, with instrumentals covered by 3 producers – Elevated, J Rick and Floriano (O12) and 4 features from Krimbo, Suspect, Swift and A2. He recently premiered his first visuals for the album for “Revenge”, getting everyone buzzed with it.

Octavian’s music is achieving what the artist had planned. It is a sound you need to sit down and take in properly, with so many effects added to it and little nuances inspired from different genres, it is a complex project. “Here Is Not Safe” is one of my favourites of the album and I love that it follows the pattern of one of his early projects, “Hands” had with a slow, insightful tempo in the intro and followed by a sick beat drop. “This Is My World” features Octavian’s witty lyricism, proving how much he can master his words and create meaningful content. “Build” is my new anthem, with Octavian bringing in his raspy voice on a soothing beat, creating a chilled vibe and I am loving the ad libs as well. Personally, after hearing Octavian and Suspect on A2’s “Flair”, the chemistry is there and their flow compliments each other perfectly. There is so much substance in this album, I cannot wait for visuals to some of them.

I feel like Octavian is just warming up with making his debut and I think we can only expect more and more greatness.
